Khajoor ki Mithai

Ingredients

  • 2 cups roughly chopped dates

  • 2 tbsp ghee

  • ½ teaspoon freshly ground cardamom

  • ¼ cup sliced almonds

  • ¼ cup chopped pistachios

  • ¼ cup chopped cashews

Instructions

1. Heat chopped dates with ghee and cardamom in a saucepan on medium.

2. Sauté for 5 minutes, stirring frequently.

3. Reduce heat and stir until mixture becomes paste-like, for about 5 more minutes.

4. Add nuts, mix well, and turn off heat.

5. Once cool, roll mixture out onto a silicone mat (you would want a spherical shape)

6. Refrigerate for 2 hours until firm.

7. Cut into ½ inch slices after it has hardened.

8. And serve this guilt free sweet treat!
